Enriching Minds Beyond the Classroom: Berkeley Hall’s After-School Enrichment Program

At Berkeley Hall School, we believe that education extends far beyond the traditional school day. That’s why we’re proud to offer our After-School Enrichment Program (ASEP), a dynamic and diverse array of activities designed to inspire creativity, build skills, and foster a love of learning in students from nursery through 8th grade.



In partnership with Parker-Anderson, a leader in after-school enrichment, we provide a wide range of classes taught by experienced professionals. Whether your child is interested in chess, cooking, robotics, or ballet, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy.

A World of Opportunities

 

Our ASEP program is designed to complement the rigorous academics and character development that Berkeley Hall is known for. Here’s a glimpse of what we offer:

●       Chess Instruction: Sharpen strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with our Checkmate Chess class.

●       Creative Arts: From Being Da Vinci (Art, Science & Culture) to Musical Theater, students can unleash their creativity.

●       Culinary Adventures: Budding chefs can hone their skills in the BHS Junior Chef and Cooking classes.

●       Sports & Movement: Intro to Tennis, Karate, Lacrosse, and Hip Hop, Breakdancing & Tumbling keep students active and engaged.

●       STEM Exploration: Dive into Technology 101 with Lego Robotics, Coding, and Minecraft.

●       Life Skills: Time & Place Etiquette Class teaches students the art of grace and courtesy.

These classes are more than just extracurricular activities—they’re opportunities for students to discover new passions, develop confidence, and build friendships in a fun, supportive environment.

How It Works

 

Our ASEP program runs in three sessions throughout the year, aligning with Berkeley Hall’s academic trimesters. This allows students to try different activities each term and explore a variety of interests.

Registration is simple and convenient for current Berkeley Hall families. Just visit the Resource Board on our website to sign up, and payment is due before the first class.
